Air Canada is Canada’s leading airline. Created in 1937, Air Canada has been on the forefront of innovation in the aviation field. It pioneered Canada’s first transborder service, helped with the invention of the Black Box—making history in 1965, and added revolutionary Boeing 787s to the Air Canada fleet in 2014. Since then, we’ve had a long-standing commitment to helping Canadians discover adventure in over 175 destinations. Together with our regional partners, we help over 1,530 planes take off daily—and that’s no small feat.
