Advocating for business-friendly policies to all levels of government
A strong business community is the foundation for a strong city and economy. As an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization, the Calgary Chamber plays an active role advocating on behalf of businesses at all levels of government.
Member-only advocacy
All members are invited to share their opinions and voices on the issues that matter most. To ensure you are represented, all Calgary Chamber members are invited to:
- Participate in survey opportunities on important and timely topics of interest
- Provide feedback about topics of concern to the Chamber policy team
- Participate in industry roundtables (by invitation only) to share concerns and ideas with others in your sector
- Participate in Municipal, Provincial and Federal roundtables (by invitation only) to share challenges
- Attend political keynote events at member rates
- Sponsor events with political leaders
For higher-tier members
For higher-tier members, additional opportunities ensure your business is in front of decision makers. These include:
- Meetings with the Calgary Chamber’s policy team (Accelerate & above members only)
- The opportunity to take part in policy-related roundtables with government (Champion & above members only)
- Exclusive receptions with government leaders (Champion & above members only)
- Meetings with the Calgary Chamber President & CEO (Champion & above members only)
