With over 80 opportunities to gather and network every year, the Calgary Chamber connects the city’s business leaders, decision-makers, entrepreneurs and government at unforgettable events.
What are event credits?
Event credits are pre-allocated funds included with your Chamber membership that can be used toward Calgary Chamber event registrations. Once your credits have been exhausted, your organization can continue attending events at the exclusive member rate, receiving 50% off standard ticket pricing.

1 Credit = $1 that can go towards ticket prices at any Chamber event. Additionally, your Events Credits can be used as Marketing Credits to pay for Marketing Benefits.
How to use your credits
Credits are pre-populated in your Chamber account. When you join the Chamber, the amount of event credits included in your membership are automatically added to your profile. By default, only the primary contact for your account can access the event credits.
- Have your primary Chamber contact register for the event. If someone on your team would like to use credits towards tickets for a Chamber event, your primary Chamber contact will need to log in and register your team member(s) for the event they would like to attend. Direct access to the event credits can be given to additional contacts upon request.
- Select ‘Apply event credits’. On the last page before confirmation, select ‘Apply your event credits’ and choose the amount of your credits you would like to use. The amount selected will be withdrawn from your pre-allocated amount.
Note: Credits expire! Your allotted number of event credits expire at the end of your membership. Be sure to use them all up each year as they do not rollover.

Do the event credits expire?
Yes, they expire at the end of your membership term each year.
Do I need to buy more in case I used them all before my expiry date?
Yes, you can! Additionally, once you use up your pre-allotted amount, you can also just register and pay member pricing (50% off) for regular ticket prices.
Besides the primary contact, who else has access to these event credits?
By default, only your primary contact can access the event credits, but your they can also request direct access for additional contacts. If your primary contact has changed, or you need to request more access, please connect with [email protected].
Do you offer any events for free?
Yes! The Calgary Chamber offers many events free to our members including workshops, roundtables, Mental Health Monday conversations and more. Check out event calendar for the latest updates.
Are there specific events for which we can or cannot use event credits?
No, event credits can be used for any Calgary Chamber event, but there are occasions where there are limits on how many event credits can be used for a single event. In addition, the Chamber will occasionally promote events that are hosted by other organizations, and event credits are not eligible for these types of external events.
What do I wear to a Calgary Chamber event?
Business casual is always welcomed at Calgary Chamber events, but some events (galas, golf tournaments, etc.) will have specific dress code information included in the registration.

As a non-partisan, non-profit organization, our goal is to make Calgary the place to do business. Companies of all sizes, sectors and segments of the city are represented at our events, so you can be sure that your business will be welcomed with open arms.
