About

Building a sense of belonging is an important part of creating healthy, inclusive workplaces. Join us on December for 7 for Mental Health Monday as we explore the unique mental health experiences of immigrant and newcomer employees, including the barriers, cultural considerations and challenges that can impact well-being both inside and outside of the workplace.

Together, we’ll examine how employers and teams can better understand the experiences of newcomer communities, recognize the role workplaces play in supporting mental health and foster environments where individuals feel valued, respected and connected.

This conversation will provide practical insights and strategies to help organizations reduce stigma, strengthen workplace inclusion and create more supportive environments where diverse teams can thrive.

About Mental Health Mondays

Join us for Mental Health Mondays, a monthly event series dedicated to fostering open, supportive conversations about mental well-being in our community.

In partnership with our Mental Health Pillar Partner, Cenovus, these sessions go beyond the workplace covering a wide range of topics that impact both our professional and personal lives. Each month, a thought leader from one of Calgary’s leading mental health organizations will guide the conversation, share resources and be available to answer your questions.

This series is also about building a sense of community—whether you’re personally navigating mental health challenges, supporting someone who is, or simply wanting to learn more. Whether you’re a business leader, team member or community partner, you’ll gain valuable tools, insights and connections to strengthen well-being for yourself and those around you.

Together, let’s build a healthier, more resilient Calgary, because we’re always better together.
