Eight local businesses honoured at the Calgary Small Business Awards, presented by Rogers Business
The Calgary Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Small Business Awards, presented by Rogers Business. This year’s awards drew an impressive 330 applicants across eight categories, reflecting the diversity, innovation and resilience that define Calgary’s small business community.

ATB Indigenous Entrepreneurship Award: 🔗Tawaw Architecture Collective Inc.
Tawaw Architecture Collective, made up of Cree, Dene, Navajo, Salish, Métis and non-Indigenous designers, integrates human-centered design and research-based methods to deliver globally recognized work in civic, cultural, education, housing, healthcare and urban planning projects. Their work includes Calgary’s $240 million Arts Commons Transformation and the award-winning David Crombie Park Revitalization in Toronto.
CPA Alberta Social Entrepreneurship Award: 🔗Women in Need Society (WINS)
For more than three decades, WINS has empowered women and families in need through social enterprise, supporting over 27,000 Calgarians in 2024. From thrift stores that fund community programs to initiatives that create meaningful employment and connection, WINS proves that business can be a powerful force for change.
