Eligible courses & programs
With the exception of Extended Education Courses and Certificates, Certificate of Achievement (General Chemistry CHEM1901, Fundamentals of Bioenergetics BIOL1402 and The Organization of Diversity of Life BIOL140), the following courses and programs are eligible for the discount:
Chiu School of Business
Certificate and diploma programs in accounting, administration and business management, including open-enrollment courses.
School of Technology
Applied training in software development, cybersecurity, cloud technology, digital design and more.
Non-Credit: Pivot-Ed Micro-credential
Short-term, non-credit courses designed for quick skill development and digital badge certification.
Non-Credit extended education
Continuing education courses, professional development certificates, and flexible part-time learning options.
Steps to receive your discount
For members to take advantage of this exclusive offer, please follow these steps:
For Credited Courses and Programs in the Chiu School of Business and School of Technology
- Apply and be accepted to an eligible Bow Valley College Chiu School of Business or School of Technology credit program.
- Complete the Membership Affiliation Form found in the Calgary Chamber Member Portal and submit it to [email protected].
- Receive your discount. Once your Calgary Chamber membership is verified, Bow Valley College will automatically apply the 10% tuition discount to your account.

For Non-Credit Courses Continuing Educations & Micro-Credentials
- Access the discount code through the Calgary Chamber Member Portal under the Member Perks tab.
- Use the discount code during the registration process on Bow Valley College’s website.
Note: This discount is available to Calgary Chamber members only. Dependents not included. For discounts that include dependents, please view steps for Chui School of Business and School of Technology.
Who is eligible? All employees of Calgary Chamber member companies are eligible for both discount categories. Dependents are eligible for credit courses and programs through the Chiu School of Business and School of Technology only. Student members are excluded.

What is the difference between the credited and non-credited discount options?
- For credited courses, members and dependents are eligible for the 10% discount. The parent or guardian from the member organization must submit an affiliation form on behalf of their dependent once the student is accepted in the program to access the discount.
- For non-credited courses, including micro-credentials and continuing education, members can access a discount code through the Member Portal and use it during registration.
Are all members eligible for the 10% tuition discount?
All members, except for Student members can take advantage of these offers.
What should I do if I don't have access to the Chamber Member Portal?
If you don’t have access, please request access by contacting [email protected].
Where can I find a list of eligible courses?
- For credited courses, refer to the Chiu School of Business, Open Courses and programs from the School of Technology.
- For non-credited courses, check the Pivot-Ed Micro-Credentials and Continuing Education offerings.
How will Bow Valley College validate my affiliation with the Chamber for credited courses?
Members or parents/guardians of member organizations must fill out a Membership Affiliation Form via the Chamber Member Portal and then send to [email protected] to confirm affiliation.
Do I need to request a Chamber affiliation form every term?
Yes, a new affiliation form must be submitted every term to receive the discount.
Who is considered a dependent eligible for the credited discount?
A dependent is a biological, adopted or stepchild of a member, or a child under the member’s legal guardianship. Dependents must be under 21 years of age or, if enrolled in full-time studies, under 25 years old.
Are dependents eligible for the non-credit course discount?
No, dependents are not eligible for the discount on non-credit (continuing education) courses. The discount is available only to members.
Are non-Canadian students eligible for the tuition discount?
No, the discount is available only to domestic students with permanent resident status.
Can the 10% tuition discount be combined with other discounts?
No, the 10% discount cannot be combined with other tuition discounts or promotional offers.
Does the 10% discount cover textbooks and other materials?
No, the 10% discount applies only to tuition. It does not cover the cost of textbooks, materials or other related expenses.
Is the 10% tuition discount available for repeated courses?
No, the discount does not apply to any courses a student repeats.

- The discount is only available to active Calgary Chamber members.
- Corporate memberships only: The discount applies to corporate Calgary Chamber memberships (Startup, Build, Connect, Accelerate, Champion, Prestige, Purpose). Student memberships are not eligible.

Non-credit courses are for members only—dependents are not eligible for discounts on non-credit offerings.
Dependents of members must be under 21 years of age, or under 25 if enrolled in full-time studies. - Domestic students only: Non-Canadian students who do not have permanent resident status are not eligible for the discount.
- The discount cannot be combined with any other tuition discounts or promotions available through Bow Valley College.
- Textbooks, materials and other expenses are not covered by the discount.
- The discount is not available for courses a student is repeating.
