Calgary Quest Children’s Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children, teens, and young adults with moderate to severe developmental disabilities through Calgary Quest School and Calgary Quest Resources. For over 40 years, we have nurtured the potential of thousands of young people with cross-disabilities and unique learning needs, changing their lives and the lives of their families.

Families come to us after months, or often years, of feeling lost, excluded, and under-resourced. We allow these families to be seen, included, and supported. Young people at Quest build friendships and develop a sense of belonging, often for the very first time.

Our programs include specialized education at Calgary Quest School, before-and-after school care, Summer Adventure Camps, and our Centre for Opportunity, which supports young adults as they transition to greater independence. Due to a waitlist that has quadrupled, we’ve expanded to meet the growing need, opening our second site, the Sunalta Campus, in January 2024. We are also currently in the construction phase of our newest campus, set to open in September 2025
