Established in Calgary in 2025, Lufthansa Technik Canada is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik and a member of the Lufthansa Group. The company provides quick-turn engine support with expertise in maintenance for CFM International LEAP-1B engines powering the Boeing 737 MAX fleet. By 2027, the facility will host Canada’s first test cell for latest-generation aircraft engines, setting new benchmarks in aviation maintenance while creating a minimum of 160 permanent jobs by 2030.
