The Prostate Cancer Centre (PCC) is a charitable organization and world-class medical centre dedicated to combating prostate and bladder cancer by providing comprehensive, one-stop support for patients, their families and caregivers. For more than 25 years, we’ve been advocating for equitable access to healthcare for all men across Alberta. We offer access to PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) blood testing for early detection of prostate cancer, alongside education, personalized care, and research initiatives into prostate and bladder cancer as well as other urological diseases.

Our community outreach program, the MAN VAN®, is Canada’s first mobile men’s health clinic offering free PSA blood testing for early prostate cancer detection in Alberta. The MAN VAN® goes where the men are – it’s a crucial service that addresses the accessibility and proactive health care needs of men, particularly in rural, vulnerable and Indigenous communities across the province of Alberta. The clinical team also offers a mental wellness check which assesses depression as well as suicide risk and symptoms.
