Alida is the Controller at Viewpoint Group. She joined the Viewpoint team in November of 2016 after eight years in audit at a big four accounting firm where she worked with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries. At Viewpoint, Alida provides leadership to the finance team for Viewpoint Investment Partners, Viewpoint Family Office, and Viewpoint Foundation. Her responsibilities include financial, investment-related, and income tax reporting; cash and treasury management; GST and information returns; and regulatory reporting requirements such as FATCA and CRS. In 2009, Alida graduated with Distinction from the University of Calgary earning both a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree. In 2012, she attained her Chartered Accountant designation after being named to the National Honour Roll on the 2011 Uniform Final Examination.
