Charles St-Arnaud

Charles St-Arnaud is Chief Economist at Alberta Central, the central banking facility and trade association for Alberta’s credit unions. He has more than 20 years of experience as an Economist in the public and private sector, both in Canada and internationally. Before joining Alberta Central, he was Senior Investment Strategist at Lombard Odier Investment Manager in London, England advising investors and portfolio managers on global financial markets. Before that, he was Senior Economist and FX Strategist at Nomura International in NYC and London. Charles was at the Department of Finance in Ottawa during the global financial crisis, where he advised senior officials on economic policy to respond to the crisis. He also worked for the Bank of Canada and Morgan Stanley. He is a regular contributor to the Financial Post, Globe&Mail, BNN Bloomberg, CBC/Radio-Canada and Calgary Herald. Charles holds an Msc. in Economics from Université du Québec à Montréal.

Jennifer Osmar

Jennifer Osmar is the Senior Director of External Affairs & Indigenous Relations for AltaGas, responsible for leading an integrated approach to building positive and productive relationships with government, Indigenous and community relations partners across AltaGas’ midstream value chain.

Jennifer brings to her role well-established and values-driven experience in building collaborative partnerships, contributing to the successful development, growth and sustainability of AltaGas’ energy export business.

Derek Costain

Derek Costain is an experienced senior IT leader with 25 years of technology and leadership experience in the aviation sector. Derek is currently serving as Director of Corporate and Airport Technologies at the Calgary International Airport (YYC). In his role, Derek oversees all software and technologies in use at YYC, including enterprise applications used by YYC business units and technology solutions critical to the operation of the airport. Derek also previously spent 4 years as an IT Program Manager delivering the IT program for the International Terminal at YYC and working through both the design and construction phases of the nearly $2 billion terminal expansion.

Omar Saleh

Omar Saleh is an experienced strategic leader with a deep background in aerospace innovation, technology commercialization, and international partnerships.

As the Associate Director of the Aerospace Innovation Hub, Omar spearheads initiatives to grow Calgary’s aerospace and defense sectors, emphasizing innovation, workforce development, and cross-border collaborations. Previously, as Chief Commercial Officer at Qdot Technology Ltd., he led the company’s expansion into Canada, securing major investments in UAV and clean aviation technologies.

With a foundation in chemical engineering from the University of Waterloo, and an MBA from the University of Oxford, Omar blends technical expertise with strategic insight, bridging innovation with practical impact.

Jennifer Harwood is a Chartered Global Management Accountant and CPA with a passion for digital transformation. Prior to joining RSM where she helps clients achieve their financial digital transformation goals, Jennifer worked at Metrolinx and the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA). It was in leading a digital transformation project at the GTAA that Jennifer realized the potential for organizations to improve transparency, enhance analysis and drive results through digital innovations, inspiring her to join the team at RSM.
