We are in unprecedented times, with the world being turned upside down overnight. Businesses are pivoting operations, neighbours are supporting each other, and the Calgary community is coming together like it has done so many times before to overcome this crisis.
The Chamber is thrilled to honour six Calgary businesses that have shown strength and resiliency during COVID-19 through Calgary's Resilient Business Awards.
What does it mean to be a resilient business?
Resilient Businesses have the ability to rapidly adapt and respond to business disruptions, safeguard people and assets, while maintaining continuous business operations.
Applications will be accepted until 12:00 pm, August 21, 2020.
The winners will be announced at the Resilient Business Awards Gala in September (details to come).
Resilient Business Award: Micro-business level
This award is given out to the business who has showed resiliency, compassion and determination during COVID-19. This award is specifically for businesses with less than 10 employees.
This award is given out to the business that is leading the way in inclusion and diversity by recognizing the range of human differences, and involving and valuing these differences as strengths to the business model.
