Our seasonal flat fee grant offerings include research and writing services at a fixed, accessible rate, with funding requests up to $10,000 depending on the recommended grants.

SWPP+ brings together employers, students, and post-secondary stakeholders to create quality work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities. Placements can range from a minimum of 10 hours per week part-time to a full-time maximum of 35-40 hours per week for up to 16 weeks. The maximum funding per placement is $7,500, subject to availability.

The Alberta Export Expansion Program (AEEP) supports Alberta’s small- and medium-sized enterprises, industry associations, Indigenous organizations, and economic development organizations that promote Alberta exports through international travel to formal outbound trade events. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until the annual program budget is spent. Funding may include per diem amounts and/or partial reimbursement of eligible international formal trade event registration costs, with a maximum of $15,000 CAD per applicant per fiscal year.

The Prairies Performing Arts Initiative (PPAI) is a $20 million program by Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan) aimed at enhancing the financial sustainability and growth of professional performing arts organizations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. It offers non-repayable contributions ranging from $100,000 to $750,000 per project over a maximum of three years. Eligible applicants are not-for-profit professional performing arts organizations with a mandate to create, produce, and perform works, and that have an annual revenue of at least $1 million. Expressions of Interest are accepted until February 1, 2025, or until funding is fully committed.
