Below are answers to some of the most asked questions about exhibiting at the Calgary Small Business Week Expo.

How much does it cost to host a booth?

• Member early bird booth: $850.00 (Available until September 3, 2021)
• Member booth: $1,100.00 (Available after September 4, 2021)
• Member premium early bird booth: $1,100.00 (Available until September 3, 2021)
• Member premium booth: $1,600.00 (Available after September 4, 2021)

What is included?

• 100 square feet of exhibiting space (10x10 ft. booth)
• 8ft. banquet table with black skirting, 2 chairs, 1 wastebasket
• Booth draping (8ft. high silver drape back wall and 3ft. silver drape side rail)
• Two complimentary expo passes for booth staff
• Standard 1500 watt 120V 15 amp electrical outlet
• Continental breakfast and coffee during booth set-up
• Booth listing on sbwyyc.com website and social media promotion
• NEW Designated WI-FI

Do I have to be a member of the Calgary Chamber to exhibit?

No, anyone can host a booth a the Small Business Week Expo, however Calgary Chamber members get a lower rate and preferred location. To learn about non-member pricing or a Calgary Chamber membership, email us at membership@calgarychamber.com.

What is does the floor plan look like?

We are finalizing the floor plan and will be sharing it soon.

When can I pick my booth location?

Booth selection is based on a first come first serve basis based on the date you pay for your booth. Once the floor plan is finalized we will reach out to you with the floor plan to select your spot.

What health precautions are you taking?

We will be following AHS guidelines and working with our partners we will meet industry standards on event safety. Some of the things we are doing include: Temperature checks, physically distancing, arrows to direct traffic, regular cleaning of high touch areas and more. We feel confident in the steps we are taking that this will be a safe event for exhibitors and attendees.

What happens if the event cannot happen because of COVDI-19?

In the event that the Expo cannot go forward due to COVID-19, all booth deposits will be held and put towards the 2022 expo. There will be no refunds for booth deposits if the event cannot happen because of COVID-19.

How many attendees are anticipated?

The Small Business Week expo sees over 1,500 people walk the floor throughout the day. This number may fluctuate based on local health guidelines.

Who normally attends?

The Small Business Week Expo is attended by business owners and leaders from across Calgary. People of all job titles attend looking to make connections and grow their business.
