Connecting Commerce brings your business online. Below are answers to the most asked questions.

What is Connecting Commerce?

Connecting Commerce is a program that supports small businesses by building online stores.

How does it work?

Local Calgary students will build the store and upload initial products. Throughout the process they will be supported by the Calgary Chamber, Helcim and KPMG Enterprise. Learn more about the process.

Does my business qualify?

If your business can answer yes to all of the qualifying questions, you can proceed with your application.

How do I apply?

Apply now by completing the application form.

How much does it cost?

The site build is free for qualifying businesses thanks to support from KPMG Enterprise. Helcim will waive the monthly account fee for the first month, following that there will be a $20.00/month account fee. Payment processing fees will apply to all orders made through the online store from day one. If you should opt in to utilize KPMG Enterprise’s Finance Plus cloud-based accounting platform on your site, following a 3 month free trial, a monthly subscription is applicable.

Who is behind the program?

The program is a partnership between the Calgary Chamber, Helcim and KPMG Enterprise.
